Phosphor Bronze

C51000 Phosphor Bronze alloy is a cold worked bronze which possess higher yield strength than is readily available in most cast bronze products. Typical applications for C51000 phosphor bronze include bearings, bushings, gears, pinions, shafts, thrust washers and valve parts. C51000 Phosphor bronze can be readily brazed or soldered. Capacity for being cold worked is good.

C54400 Phosphor Bronze is the finest bearing alloy that the industry has to offer.  It is an extremely machinable alloy that is equaled by few in the wrought metal industry as a bearing alloy. When annealed, this metal can be bent, formed, blanked, and stamped. Typical applications include: bearings, bushings, gears, pinions, shafts, thrust washers, valve parts.

C90700 Gear Bronze is a hard, strong alloy with good corrosion resistance, especially in seawater. As a bearing material it resists both wear and fatigue applications. It is moderately machinable. C 907 is widely used for gears and worm wheels, bearings, marine fittings, piston rings and pump components.

C91700 is a medium strength casting alloy. It has a good combination of strength, ductility and resistance to corrosion and wear. Its typical tensile strength is 60 ksi in the as-cast condition. Typical applications include gears and worm wheels.
