Aluminum Alloy 6064

  • Aluminum Alloy 6064
  • General Characteristics

The 6064 alloy is a controlled lead alloy designed to be ROHS and IMDS/ELV compliant. This alloy can be used instead of aluminum 6262 as they have similar physical and mechanical properties. The alloy offers very good machinability along with good corrosion resistance. It also has excellent coating acceptance (anodize response).
