Aluminum Alloy 6005

  • Aluminum Alloy 6005
  • General Characteristics

The 6005 alloy is a general-purpose extrusion alloy, suitable for structural products where medium strength properties are required. Typical application fields include ladders, train and truck building, marine constructions, off shore applications etc. Through special control of the chemical composition and the processing parameters, specially defined grain structures can be achieved, optimizing static and dynamic loading conditions.
