IT Systems

BTI’s management team heavily invests in technology and innovation in order to improve processes and maximize the efficiency of work and customer service. For that end, we use:

• A central ERP to manage operations across the company, including MRP and MPS modules for procurement and purchase planning, and production operations.
• A WMS system with RF terminals for managing our digitized warehouse. Our way of working maintains one of the highest level of supply chain reliability available on the market.
• A business intelligence system for analyzing data and producing high quality reports.
• An internal Microsoft PDM portal, to manage the organizational engineering activities, including review of documentation and sketching level.

Storage

We provide storage services to our clients. Our storage system is made of cantilever shelves specifically design for holding long metal bars up until 6000 mm and up to 1.5 tons of weight per shelf. We separate commercial and aviation materials in our storage spaces, and track each and every product with a barcode system that maintains traceability per batch and per product.

Distribution

We provide an unprecedented service timeframe for our clients: delivery within 24 hours from the moment an order is placed. Our commitment to reach every client across Israel is made possible by working in the following methods:

• Just In Time manufacturing: allowing us to deliver raw materials as soon as an order is placed, fully coordinated with client requests.
• KANBAN scheduling: allows the client for a continuous supply of manufacturing materials, as the full supply “shelf” is stored at the client’s site.

Tactical Procurement

We believe that we should focus on our core business, where we can truly add value to  our clients and the market. That’s why some of our manufacturing activities have been outsourced:

• Complementary purchasing: we enable our clients to purchase supplementary and complementary products for metals, profiles, designated items and general products.
• Global and local purchasing: we work with a variety of manufacturers and suppliers within the metal industry, both locally in Israel and globally. Our purchasing department is able to find suitable solutions for any need, by purchasing the required materials in Israel and around the world.

Cutting Services

• Band Saw Machines: accurate cutting by using different  saws. These saws are effective in cutting diverse metal bars, with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm. Cutting is available for all metal types we provide.
• Circular Saw Machines: cutting by using fast, automated, high precision Circular Saw Machines. These saws are effective in cutting diverse all the metals and aluminium profiles we provide, with a tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm. Cutting can be done in 90°, 45° and custom made angles.
• Plate saws: plates and custom made cut bins with a cutting tolerance of up to +/- 0.5 mm and 127 mm in thickness.
• Slitting: accurate cutting by using slitting, including polishing edges, folding and straightening metal strips for diverse metal alloys. Delivery is faster than any other suppliers in Israel or globally.

CNC Machining Solutions

We offer our clients a high level of expertise in CNC machining of aluminum profiles. The accuracy level of the CNC machines allows us to truly add value and provide creative solutions even to most complex projects. Our technological team provides technical support in order to find the absolute best and most efficient solution to any client request.

Customer Support

• Metallurgic support: we provide an array of professional services in metallurgy, including advisory in selecting raw materials and consulting services in a variety of processes, such as: treatment types, field treatments, hardness types, and finishing options.
• Engineering support: BTI’s engineering team guides the client from product design to delivery
• Training days regarding metal and profiles: we continuously provide professional seminars and training days to our clients in the field of metals and metal profiles. We aim to enrich our clients professional understanding and keep them up to date with the latest innovation or noval technology available.
• Site visits abroad: transparency is part of our code of conduct. As part of our way of working, we offer our clients to meet manufacturers abroad for advisory and maintenance of clients applications, and encourage working side by side to setup every product for success. We offer site visits in our manufacturing facilities abroad according to client requests and needs.
