Tungsten Pure

  • Tungsten Pure
  • General Characteristics

Tungsten is a very dense, hard, temperature/corrosion-resistant metal. Because of its unique & expensive way of cyclic production stages: refining, grinding and sintering P/M (Powder Metallurgy), it’s common to find niche rather than large scale structural applications. Typical uses include rocket nozzles, nuclear and medical radiation shielding for x-ray and radiation therapy shields and industrial applications, aircraft and helicopter rotor balance weights, instrument balance weights, weights for sport equipment, tool damping cutter bars and high voltage contacts.
